At Step Forward Kingston, we adhere to Health Canada's guidelines for the reprocessing of foot care instruments.

We begin by soaking our used instruments in a diluted Empower Dual Enzymatic Instrument Cleaner, followed by washing them with an Ultrasonic Cleaner and Metri Clean 2.

Next, we individually pack each instrument into sterilization pouches equipped with a chemical indicator.

The packed instruments are then placed in an autoclave, which we clean monthly and test with spore tests every 24 hours.

We ensure that all our instruments are fully sterilized before attending to our clients, providing worry-free foot care either at home or in our clinic.
